Portions of Mora–Summerhill evacuation route maintenance project represent a significant thoroughfare for the Southern Los Altos Hills Community. These roads serve as egress and ingress for local residents, daily commuters, and emergency services. To secure the egress / ingress’ integrity, the Los Altos Hills County Fire District proposes a roadside treatment of fuels.

To secure egress for all people along this evacuation route in the event of wildfire, the Los Altos Hills County Fire District (LAHCFD or District) and Santa Clara County Firesafe Council (SCCFSC) propose a roadside treatment of hazardous fuels.
