The FireSafe Council Community Ambassador Volunteer Program trains dedicated volunteers and equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead wildfire preparedness efforts within their communities. Volunteers will be trained using a “train the trainer” model, expanding wildfire education and risk reduction activities across Santa Clara County. Community Ambassadors will collaborate with the FireSafe Council, local fire departments, and other partners to increase awareness and enhance community preparedness and resilience to wildfires.
