“The FireSafe Council is in a unique position in Santa Clara County in that it connects multiple agencies together for fire prevention and protection projects. Through my work here I’ve learned a lot about forestry and forestry management, and I’ve been able to continue being involved with community fire prevention even though I’ve retired from firefighting.”
